Dr. Kelly Hurt's educational background is in geology, water resources, forestry and environmental science. He worked for academia and industry groups as well as for federal, state and tribal governments before founding Land Doctors, Inc. in 2015. Having benefited from experiencing, though not necessarily agreeing with these various perspectives, Kelly brings an interesting take on land issues that range from explaining the science, anticipating business opportunities and understanding the ranch market to navigating the politics and local customs. In addition to selling land, improving ranches and consulting, Kelly enjoys living in small-town Allen, Oklahoma, with his wife and two children.
