Located 13 miles east of Llano in Llano County with frontage on Highway 29, the 532± acre Pennington Creek Ranch delivers live water, wildlife, turnkey amenities and easy access to Austin (75 minutes), Fredericksburg (45 minutes) and the Highland Lakes (less than 15 minutes).

The Llano River courses along Pennington Creek Ranch’s southern border under the dappled shade of legacy oaks and pecans. Pennington Creek, with a spring at its lower end, never goes completely dry.

There are three wells on the ranch: one with a flow of about 20–25 GPM that feeds the two-acre lake stocked with bass located near the main lodge; another (5–6 GPM) that supplies the house; and a back-up for the house that flows at about 2–3 GPM. There are two additional stock ponds, one that offers fishing.

The diverse landscape includes flat pasturelands and gently rolling hills cut through with draws and creeks. Elevated points throughout provide stunning views.

The selectively cleared native habitat includes a wide variety of oaks and native browse plants. Wildflowers abound in the spring.

The ranch, low-fenced on three sides, is home to white-tailed deer that have been managed under TPWD’s Harvest Program, feral hogs, turkeys, dove, ducks, some bobwhite quail and non-game species.

Fredericksburg’s renowned builders, Timber and Stone, crafted the 2,894± square-foot main lodge using its signature reclaimed wood with native stone accents. The home boasts two bedrooms, four baths, a high-end custom kitchen, a great room with towering fireplace and a sleeping loft.

Three pine cabins, situated within an easy walk of the main lodge, give family and friends the best of accessibility and privacy. The cabins, finished with the same high-quality appointments and fin-ishes as the lodge, come in three configurations: one-bedroom/one-bath/kitchen; two-bedroom/two-baths; and one-bedroom bunkhouse/two-baths.

All of the accommodations were professionally decorated.

An outdoor gathering area complete with an expansive grill, covered seating with dining table and outdoor lighting rounds out the compound.
