Listing of the Week: Oregon Recreational Retreat with Rogue River Access

Tucked among the pine-covered foothills of southern Oregon’s Cascade Mountains, 74-acre Rogue River Ranch is a recreational gem with a quarter-mile of Rogue River frontage. Flowing down from the mountains near Crater Lake on a 200-plus-mile course toward the Pacific Ocean, this section of the river is just downriver from Lost Creek Reservoir (a popular local recreation spot) and is home to salmon and steelhead trout.

The ranch’s custom-designed home features modern, light-filled living areas along with outdoor spaces that include a small swimming pool, sauna and patio for relaxing and entertaining. An additional barn is available for livestock and equipment to complement 30 acres of pasture that’s irrigated by water from the Rogue. Wildlife including deer, turkey and elk roam the property, which abuts an 80-acre day-use area operated through Oregon’s Parks and Recreation department.

Rogue River Ranch lies about 30 miles north of Medford, southern Oregon’s largest town and main gateway to the region’s various outdoor attractions and a number of popular vineyards and breweries throughout the Rogue Valley. Crater Lake National Park is 35 miles to the east of the ranch via State Highway 62.
