Watch the Sand Cranes Migrate | Indiana
These slender, silver birds flock in large groups towards the south and make this a birdwatcher’s dream. The best place to watch them take flight en masse is Jasper-Pulaski Fish and Wildlife Area. More than 10,000 cranes stop there during their migration, making it a popular stop for bird watchers. However, even those who have never bird watched before will enjoy the beautiful landscape that serves as the backdrop for the majestic display.
