The new owner of 23-acre Seamair Farm is media tycoon Oprah Winfrey. Although news of the farm’s new owner only recently emerged, the sale went through toward the end of 2015 for a reported $29 million. The property, located close to Santa Barbara in the foothills of Southern California’s Santa Ynez Mountains, was put up for sale following the death of the previous owner and is adjacent to a multi-million-dollar home that Winfrey already owns in the area. Along with its enviable location to the east of Santa Barbara and within a stone’s throw of some of California’s most beautiful coastline, Seamair Farm boasts extensive equestrian stables and facilities, an orchard and a certain degree of privacy for its new owner. The property was marketed extensively on Lands of America and Land And Farm, complimenting its large acreage and luxury status. Along with her California estates, Winfrey owns property in places including Maui, Florida, Colorado and Antigua.
