ElkQuest, the world-renowned elk-hunting operation near Durango, Colorado, is on the market for the first time in its history. In business for over 20 years, ElkQuest will be shuttering in 2016 following the loss of its 1,500-acre state lease. Colorado-based Hayden Outdoors is acting as the listing agent for this turnkey opportunity, with the ElkQuest hunting operation and breeding headquarters being offered for sale for a combined $3.7 million. Along with its brand-name recognition among hunting circles, ElkQuest will convey with its entire breeding and bull inventory plus 2016 hunt revenue should the buyer close before July 15, 2016.
