There were 1,222 properties listed as sold through the Lands of America Comparable Sales Program in February 2017 (a slight decrease over the previous month given the shorter month). The total value of all sales was $387 million, with land and property selling at an average of $317,000 nationwide. The 3,000-acre Yolo Ranch (pictured above) in Medina County, Texas, recorded the highest sales price ($19,750,000) for the month. The largest sold acreage was the 5,700-acre San Saba River Ranch in Menard County, Texas, which sold for $4.25 million on February 17, 2017, after two years on the market. Texas, Virginia and Oklahoma saw the highest combined total land sales during the month.
A total of 6,362 new listings were added by sellers on Lands of America throughout the month, representing a total of $2.7 billion in new rural real estate for sale. Below are some of the notable new additions.
