Congratulations to Dale Heinemann with Keller Williams RE Santa Fe for his sale of 1,986 acres in Union County, New Mexico. The $790,000 sale was recorded on August 10, 2018, through the Lands of America Comparable Sales program.

Located just east of Clayton, with a small portion extending into Texline, Texas, this ranch sits amidst of some of New Mexico’s finest cattle grazing land. The strength of grasses and consistent rainfall throughout the year makes this an excellent property to run yearlings and then make the short shipment to local area feedlots.

The Clayton area has a long history of ranching, the town having been established in 1887 with the arrival of the new railroad connecting northeastern New Mexico with Texas and beyond. This property is easily accessible with its northern boundary being Highway 87 between Clayton and Texline. Good ranch roads provide access to the bulk of the land.
