Straddling the Tennessee-Kentucky line, this unique property sits adjacent to over 900,000 acres of continuous national forest. Its namesake rock formation overlooks a forested area filled with trails, hidden caves and places to explore. The four-bedroom main home fronts a private lake, while an additional three-bedroom guest house and historic log cabin—once inhabited by members of President Truman’s family—offer added amenities.

North Tennessee’s Pickett County is a small rural county that also happens to be Tennessee’s least populated. Nestled in the mountains of the Highland Rim and framed to its east by the expansive Big South Fork National Recreation Area, Pickett County is also the gateway to Dale Hollow Lake, offering 620 miles of shorelines and recreational activities including swimming, boating and fishing (indeed, Dale Hollow Lake still holds the world record for largest smallmouth bass, caught in July 1955).
