Congratulations to Paul Banks with East Texas Land & Real Estate for his sale this week of 1,398 acres in Red River County, Texas. The sale occurred on April 20, 2018, and was recorded through the Lands of America Comparable Sales program.

The mostly undeveloped ranch property, located near Clarksville, Texas, offers a good mix of timber coverage for both cattle as well as wildlife including deer and hogs. The well-watered property offers opportunity for improvements with the installation of lakes and ponds.

Red River County lies along the Oklahoma line, northeast of Dallas and close to Arkansas. Characterized by fertile land fed by its namesake river, beef cattle, hay, soybeans and cotton are the region’s agricultural mainstays.
