Nestled amidst the rolling hills of the scenic Hondo Valley, the area is framed by the broad-shouldered peaks of the Capitan and Sacramento mountains. Consisting of 8,951 deeded acres and 1,383 BLM acres, the ranch is rated for 200 head of cattle. It’s also home to a healthy mule deer population as well as the original game park where Barbary sheep were introduced to New Mexico in the 1940s. Today, there are numerous herds that number over 200 Barbary sheep per herd.

While the ranch itself is quiet and private, it is located in close proximity to Ruidoso, New Mexico. Ruidoso is a popular vacation destination known for its skiing, horse racing, casinos, shopping, as well as access to a wide range of outdoor activities including hunting, camping and mountain biking.
