A mix of grazing and hunting land in northwest Texas, the ranch had previously been owned and managed by the same family for three generations. Set at elevations between 1,500 and 2,000 feet, the rolling, brushy terrain gives the ranch the feel of the real Wild West. Wildlife on the property include whitetail deer, wild hogs, turkey quail and numerous other predators and small varmints.

An area of small country towns and ranching communities, as well as oil-mining and extraction services, Stonewall County is centered around the town of Aspermont (named for the Latin for “rough mountain” by its founder, A. L. Rhomberg). The rolling, rugged region features a number of notable peaks in Kiowa Peak, Flat Top Mountain and the county’s highest point, 2,580-foot-high Double Mountain. These landmarks served as important waypoints for the region’s Native American tribespeople as well as later explorers, traders and cattlemen.
