Congratulations to Blake Behrens with San Angelo, Texas-based Behrens Ranch Sales for his sale this week of 6,283-acre Wylie View Ranch in West Texas. The ranch, under the same family ownership since the 1950s, offers a large contiguous tract just outside of Van Horn and directly off the I-10 corridor running between El Paso and points east.

Terrain on the ranch is primarily level to gently sloping with several small hills in the southern portion of the ranch. Wild Horse Draw meanders along the eastern boundary of the property. The majority of the ranch consists of greasewood flats with intermittent areas of native grass. There are several areas of tabosa flats located along Wild Horse Draw.

Elevations here range from approximately 3,800 feet to 4,000 feet above sea level, with the highest point being what is locally known as Cross Hill. The entire ranch offers good views of the Wylie Mountains to the east, the Carrizo Mountains to the west and the Beach Mountains to the north. Mule deer and blue quail are found on the property.
