Congratulations to Mirr Ranch Group’s Jeff Hubbard and Pat Lancaster for their sale on August 11, 2017, of 83,368-acre Cielo Vista Ranch in Colorado’s San Luis Valley. Not only the largest land sale during the previous seven days, this land sale is currently the largest sale of 2017.

Cielo Vista first hit the market in September 2015, notable for both its size and fact the contiguous property is capped by one of Colorado’s 53 fourteeners, 14,053-foot Culebra Peak. The diverse landscape includes 18 other peaks above 13,000 feet and is home to thousands of elk, plus bighorn sheep that roam the property’s high country peaks and glacial basins.

The identity of the new buyer and exact terms of the sale remain undisclosed, although the listing broker Jeff Hubbard confirms the buyer is “a true conservationist and is deeply committed to preserving this national treasure and extraordinary resource.”
